All Driftwood Pens are distinctly made in Coquitlam BC, Canada by Trevor. Each Original Driftwood, RES’Q, Kaleidoscope and Fusion pen is made using material that has been foraged or comes from reclaimed items, the resin is coloured and poured in-house and the pens are hand turned by Trevor. He takes the time to select, mill, cut, turn, sand, finish and choose the hardware for each pen with deliberate intention. Each pen is different from the next making each one unique. Trevor celebrates the natural flaws, the knots, the discolouration and though he has the ability to remake certain styles, no pen is exactly the same – which means no claims of, “I thought it was mine.”

This pen is part of the ResQ series and has been made from a church pew that was salvaged in 2018 from the Como Lake United Church in Coquitlam, BC, Canada. The hardware colour that accentuates this mahogany pen is gold and the standard clip has been replaced with a gold cross clip. The shape of each pen is slightly different but they are all very comfortable to write with. To protect your new pen it comes complete with a sleeve made from reclaimed leather. This is a great gift idea for your Minister or someones Convocation or for anyone who wants to have a piece of the United Church.
